A new presentation that’s a continued work in progress.
Over the last 30 years, Midori’s been experimenting and developing a process by which to achieve unique and altered states. She’s exploring how to let non-linear creativity flow and multi layered sensate experiences blossom. It’s for exploring another way to be present, avoiding liner trappings in thoughts, “thought squirrells”, cliches, and staying clear of dissociative states.
It’s been a challenging process for Midori to put her methods and experience to word, but she hopes to discuss and share the how and why of her explorations.
After her presentation and discussion, Midori will lead a period of guided rope play practice designed to open up the potential for stillness, altered or present states.
If your rope play usually includes another person, you are hightly encouraged to attend with another person.
Open to all orientations and genders.
No experience necessary.
Wear comfortable clothing.
Bring
- Rope - if you have it. If you don't have rope, Midori will have some for you to borrow.
- Yoga mat or blanket encouraged but not required
