What it really is: Making your rope play hotter, sexier and more intense.The absolute foundation of amazing rope bondage play. Learn to seduce, connect, move, power-exchange, become present and play at a deeper level using the rope to transform your play.
This is part of the foundation skills for creating truly sexy and evocative rope scenes. A hands-on class using rope in a entirely new way... If you think rope play is just about tying knots, you're missing the core of the seduction and connection. You will also learn stretching techniques to help you and your partner better achieve head-space, be mindful, eliminate distractions, reduce injuries and solid ergonomics of effective body handling.
Many of the skills learned will help both the top and bottom prepare for play, last longer in play, reduce potential of injuries, move effortlessly and explore sweet head space.
This method is rooted in the Rope Dojo® philosophy - and thus will be presented in a rather uncommon way. Trust the method. It works! A bit of the "wax on, wax off" if you will...
No rope experience necessary, however if you have rope experience this will boost your current skill.
Adjustable to all fitness and mobility levels.
Pair and solos welcome. Pair attendance encouraged, but if you come solo, you'll exercise and drill with other solo attendees.
This Rope Dojo Elective is open to those who play at one or both ends of the rope.
You do not have to be a Rope Bondage Dojo graduate to attend. If you've not attended, this class will provide excellent foundation for Dojo. If you are a graduate, it's designed to enhance your effectiveness and build on the core curriculum.
What to bring:
- One rope per person. 15' to 25'
- Wear yoga-type clothing that's easy to move in. We recommend floor gripping indoor footwear or go barefoot.
- Bring a yoga mat, beach towel, or large blanket if you have one
